Food Service Worker

Job Description

Miami Job Corps is seeking a dependable crew member to join our Food Services Department. As a Food Service Worker, you will:

• provide exceptional customer services to our students.
• prepare delicious and nutritious meals that energizes our students and staff.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize kitchen, cafeteria area and food storage areas.
• support the cook where needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Experience in a Food Services operation desired.
• Ability to obtain local Food Handling/Health Certification required.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 12:00pm to 9:00pm
