SalaryDuties will include delivering and collecting food trays, taking patient orders electronically, organizing meal carts, pouring beverages, stocking inventory, collecting used trays, and maintaining a clean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Food Tray Delivery and Pickup: Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up food trays to and from patient rooms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meal distribution.
- Tablet-Based Order Taking: Utilize electronic tablets to take patient meal orders, ensuring clear communication and accurate recording of dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Cart Management: Assist in the breakdown and organization of meal carts, ensuring they are adequately stocked and prepared for meal service.
- Beverage Service: Pour and serve beverages, including juice, water, and other prescribed liquids, to patients in a hygienic and courteous manner.
- Stocking and Inventory Control: Regularly check and restock food and beverage supplies in storage areas and kitchenettes, maintaining adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.
- Tray Collection: Collect used trays and dishes from patient rooms promptly, following infection control and sanitation guidelines.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department.
