Job Description:
No nights or Weekends! The Food Service Team Member will assist in preparing food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes. This may include chopping vegetables, cooking proteins, and assembling dishes. Serve meals to students and in an efficient and courteous manner. Ensure proper portion control and presentation of food items. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately. Collect payments for meals and provide receipts as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafeteria and kitchen area. This includes washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including temperature control, hygiene practices, and allergen awareness.

Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare food and serve, and clean dishes, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Report any maintenance issues with the production floor to the Production Manager.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and students. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be comfortable with cooking and prepping cafeteria food. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to follow policies and procedures. Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds frequently.
