Assists the Food Service Manager in preparation of food in the kitchen and or facilities at one of four facilities across South Carolina. Performs routine duties in the kitchen environment. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:40% - Essential - Cook:
Prepares food as instructed and within DHEC standards. Weighs, blends and mixes ingredients according to directions. Cuts, slices, chops food.
40% - Essential - Clean:
Prepares dishes to run through commercial grade dishwasher. Hand washes pots and pans. Cleans and stores kitchen equipment after use.
20% - Essential - Storage:
Maintains food storage within DHEC guidelines. All other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager.
There are no minimum training and experience requirements for this class.

COMPENSATION INFORMATIONBand: 01 ($ 10,556.00 - $ 20,887.30)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVELNormal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
