St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking a part time Production Assistant. Are you ready to take your Food Service career to a higher level? If you have a passion for food and children, it may be time to move your career in a new direction.
Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting efficient operation of school lunch program within a team environment. Tasks would include assisting Kitchen Manager with food preparation, a la carte offerings and serving of food; help maintain a clean work environment; and other duties as assigned in regards to Food Services. Nature of work requires moderate physical effort, continuous standing, and ability to occasionally lift 30-50 lbs. and use commercial Food Service equipment. Basic computer skills are necessary.
Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Previous restaurant Food Service experience is preferred, but not required. This position has the potential for additional hours and professional advancement in the future. Ongoing educational opportunities to further knowledge of the National School Lunch Program are available.
