Annual salary: $80,000 plus bonus potential
What you will do
As the Food Service Director at a prestigious senior living community, you will be at the helm of creating a fine dining experience that goes beyond exceptional meals; it becomes an integral part of our residents' overall well-being. Your role is pivotal in fostering a dining atmosphere that not only delights the palate but also promotes a sense of community, health, and satisfaction. This position will oversee the operations of both the front and back of house, with a particular focus on enhancing the dining experience for residents in our community.
You will…
- Elevate the overall dining experience by implementing creative and engaging dining programs.
- Collaborate with residents to incorporate their feedback and preferences.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the FOH and BOH teams to deliver excellence in Food Service, preparation, and presentation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Oversee front-of-house dining and kitchen operations and front-of-house dining, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Implement cost-effective measures without compromising on quality.
- Actively engage with residents to understand their dining and culinary expectations and preferences.
- Organize special events, workshops, and tastings to foster a sense of community around food.
- Foster a dining environment that becomes a focal point for socialization, community engagement, and shared experiences.
What you will need
- Proven experience as a Food Service Director or similar role including front and back of house dining management.
- Fine dining or country club experience, preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Dedicated to excellent customer service.
