QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or equivalent
REPORTS TO:
JOB GOAL:
Develop skills and knowledge necessary to assist the head cook in providing school meals to students and staff in a timely manner.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Function under the direction of the Head Cook
Complete yearly training requirements - Professional Development and Civil Rights
Report to work on time, properly dressed, and clean.
Maintain a positive attitude in your work environment.
Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintaining temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintaining appropriate dating, labeling, and
rotation of all food items.Clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, dishes, and workplaces.
Produce a friendly environment among the students and treat all students fair.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Hourly
Subject to pre-hire background check and drug test.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Head Cook.
