Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including washing dishes and utensils
- Stock and replenish food inventory as needed
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient workflow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
