Reporting to: Dining Room Supervisor
Job Summary: Provides food and beverage service to members and guests.
Performance Expectation: To provide Food/ Beverage service that consistently meets and exceeds the member’s expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
§ Provides immediate attention to all members by greeting them by name and providing efficient, courteous service.
§ Be prompt, clock in and out as scheduled, reporting any discrepancies to supervisor for immediate correction.
§ Present acceptable appearance, particularly with respect to dress and cleanliness.
§ Provide Dining Room service to the members which meets or exceeds their expectations in accordance with the Food and Beverage Training Manual.
§ Be able to describe/ answer questions concerning menu items, ingredients, preparation and availability.
§ Be able to describe/ suggest appetizers, beverage/ wine to accompany a menu item.
§ Verifies accuracy of items and prices on tickets, presents the bill to members and makes certain that members sign the tickets.
§ Maintains cleanliness of tables, dining room, and bus station.
§ Performs opening/closing duties as assigned by Dining Room Supervisor.
§ Advises Supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
§ Assists in preparations and set up of dining area for special parties and banquets.
§ To be available to work special shifts/hours for parties and banquets.
§ Reports to Supervisor before leaving floor for employee meal/ break/ or end of shift.
§ Observes safe work habits in handling liquids and hot dishes.
