Position Overview:
In this hands-on role, primarily based on the production floor, the Food Safety and Quality Control Manager will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our product quality standards. The position demands strong proficiency in both Spanish and English for clear, error-free communication and report writing. The ideal candidate will lead Quality Control Technicians in observing, documenting, and ensuring compliance with our process controls and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct observation and thorough documentation of process controls on the production floor.
• Conducting process audits, inspecting ingredients, and ensuring adherence to GMPs.
• Implementing and overseeing quality programs compliant with HACCP, GMPs, and allergen control standards.
• Managing relationships with third-party auditors and regulatory inspectors.
• Integrating and monitoring Quality Control processes within plant operations.
• Resolving customer complaints and providing effective corrective action reports.
• Maintaining and documenting compliance with certifications (e.g., gluten-free, kosher, organic).
• Managing quality programs for vendors and raw materials.
• Developing and leading training in GMPs, HACCP, and safety protocols.
• Implementing environmental and product monitoring programs.
• Establishing Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
• Continuously improving sanitation and pest control programs.
• Staying updated with industry trends, customer requirements, and legislation.
Requirements:
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and production demands.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to undergo drug testing in specific scenarios.
• HACCP Certification (can be obtained after hiring).

• HACCP or Food Safety Certification.
