Food Runner / Busser - Cherry Cricket Littleton

Cherry Cricket is where friends, families and out-of-towners have been going for burgers and their brew of choice since 1945. We’re a Denver institution because we serve up the best appetizers, sides, entrees and award-winning burgers with a “welcome home, now sit down and enjoy” attitude.

No one really knows where the name Cherry Cricket came from, and we like it that way. In our original location at the modest brick and mortar building on 2nd Ave, we've been slinging burgers, brews and good times since 1945. In April 2018 we opened our second location in the Ballpark neighborhood at 22nd and Blake!

For more than 70 years now, we've continued to fill bellies with the city's favorite burgers paired with Colorado made beers. The memories made at the Cricket are just as important as the amazing food we serve. The Cricket is a place where a delicious burger, a cold beer, and good friends will always be waiting.

We are now hiring a Food Runner/Busser to join our team at The Cherry Cricket in Littleton!

Position Summary

The Busser/Food Runner contributes to an exceptional dining experience by setting up dining room areas, cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing table silverware, setting tables and servicing items to guests such as water, coffee, and condiments. The Busser/Food Runner maintains cleanliness, sanitization, and organization throughout the building. Ultimately, the Busser/Food Runner will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have the best dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated to include cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces
• Provide tableware and condiments for guests
• Serve water and refill beverages for the guest
• Take orders to the table and deliver all items in a timely manner to the correct guest
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave
• Maintain health and safety regulations throughout all kitchen and dining areas
• Clean and stock items throughout the restaurant to include condiment stations
• Train other employees
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior work experience as a Busser, Food Runner, or Host within a restaurant is a plus
• Ability to stay on your feet for an extended period of time and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Ability to multitask while remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of hygiene, sanitation and food safety rules
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, days, and holidays is highly desired

Pay: $14.42 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
