Food Runner

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. Your main responsibility will be to deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner. Duties:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the designated tables promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food
- Assist in food preparation tasks, such as garnishing plates or assembling appetizers, as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Clear tables and assist with bussing duties when necessary
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance the dining experience
- Communicate any customer requests or concerns to the appropriate staff members
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, banquet, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.45 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
