Seeking a dynamic and energetic individual who enjoys all aspects of running a commercial kitchen and producing meals and snacks within dietary guidelines for children on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate can work independently, be creative, and communicate well.
This position requires the candidate to run a commercial kitchen from open til close, maintain cleanliness, produce 2 meals and a snack for 30 children, report to the supervisor, maintain paperwork, understand and manage food safety, FIFO, and operate in a fast paced and creative environment.
Training on types of food to be served will be provided, including serving sizes and meal planning.
Must be good and recordkeeping, planning, preparation and execution. Must be excellent at time management and cleanliness.
This candidate will also be responsible for daily upkeep of the kitchen including cleanliness, maintaining food and cooler logs, preparing food to standards, delivering food using the company car, maintaining temp logs, doing dishes, inventory of food, etc.
