Food Service
POSITION:
Food Handler 6 Hours

1. Position High School

And any positions that result from the filling of this posting
QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Able to follow directions well
• Able to follow FIFO method
• Basic Computer Skills
• Good Mathematical Skills
• Capable of organizing large food orders

• Able to work effectively in large group situations
• Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Excellent attendance and punctuality preferred
• Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Food Service Director

DUTIES:

• Pan entrees
• Prepare different sandwiches and work with a variety of meats and cheeses
• Prepare different types of salads
• Prepare cold bars for lunch lines
• Pack food according to production records
• Adhere to FIFO and health department rules and regulations
• Be familiar with kitchen equipment
• Be productive in food preparation
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with fellow employees, building staff and students
• Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager and Food Service Director

RESPONSIBLE TO:
The Director of Food Services and/or Kitchen Manager
WORK SCHEDULE:
6 Hour position

• 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 a.m. Monday - Friday

SALARY:
According to AFSCME, Local 849, Master Agreement Salary Schedule
