The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily Food & Beverage operations at the Community Ice Center and the concert venue in the restaurant, concession stands & catering functions. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will support the F&B Manager with inventory controls, product distribution, overall maintenance & cleanliness of equipment, event preparations & event day operations. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will provide support and guidance to bartenders and cashiers. They will help coordinate catering functions, assist with maintaining kitchen cleanliness, inventory control & event support. 

 

This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends.  Flexible availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, positive attitude & team mentality are required for this position.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $18 to $20.

Centene Community Ice Center is as a state-of-the-art facility designed for hockey programming that is curated for all ages and skill levels. It houses three sheets of ice year-round and also features an outdoor rink for use in winter months. It is the official practice facility for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL) and serves as the home rink for Lindenwood University (NCAA DI). Alongside hockey development programs, the facility also offers freestyle skating and daily public skate sessions providing a unique experience for locals to get on the ice.

Saint Louis Music Park is a 4,500-seat outdoor venue that hosts concerts, festivals, local markets, and more. Performers have included Alicia Keys, Machine Gun Kelly, The Avett Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Jack White, and many more. It offers an intimate outdoor amphitheater experience and boasts a fan-centric pavilion featuring food trucks, picnic tables, yard games, and more.


  • Oversee restaurant and bar set-up and closing procedures
  • Assist bartending associates in serving guests as business levels demand
  • Responsible for overseeing the serving of food to guests at restaurant and concession stand.
  • Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages. Must check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • Assist the F&B Manager in determining product needs for upcoming events
  • Responsible for assisting in recording a guest’s order and relaying the order to the kitchen via P.O.S. system
  • Maintain proper inventory levels in concession stands by distributing appropriate product based on event needs
  • Help oversee the maintenance & cleanliness of  restaurant and concession equipment
  • Provide support with inventory control by assisting with monthly inventory & product rotations
  • Help with event day operations as needed which can include acting as a warehouse runner & prep cook
  • Willing and available to assist with event operations as directed by the F&B Director and Manager.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • At Least 1-2 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable Education.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions and product inventory.
