We seek an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our experienced team as Bandon Dunes Golf Resort grows. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be crucial in overseeing daily operations, fostering a positive culture, and maximizing revenue opportunities while upholding our commitment to True Service Customer Service values.

About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort: Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Southern Oregon coast near the charming community of Bandon. Bandon Dunes boasts 5 of the top 16 public golf courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. In addition, our award-winning par-3 golf course, Bandon Preserve, directly supports the resort’s grant-making department, the Wild Rivers Coast Alliance. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon. Beyond premier golf, guests enjoy a variety of dining options across Bandon’s 9 restaurants.

Bandon Dunes is also growing. Ghost Tree Grill, Bandon’s newest dining experience, will open this fall. A new par-3 golf course, Shorty’s, is under development and will further enhance the resort’s charitable giving when it opens.

??? Your Responsibilities:

Step up to assist at one of our dining establishments at Bandon Dunes.

  • Collaborate with the team to implement the annual budget plan, aligning with company policies and procedures to achieve profit goals.
  • Create effective staffing schedules that prioritize customer service standards while optimizing employee costs. Monitor activities to ensure compliance with company payroll policies.
  • Uphold operating guidelines pertaining to the OLCC and TIPS programs, ensuring full compliance with state and federal laws, food and beverage sanitation regulations, and ADA requirements.
  • Maintain the highest sanitation standards throughout the establishment, encompassing employee hygiene, kitchen equipment, food storage, dining areas, patios, bar areas, restrooms, and more.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cleaning and preventative maintenance program for fixtures, equipment, appliances, and vehicles.
  • Oversee the purchase ordering and receiving program, maintaining par-stock levels and ensuring proper quantity and price on all purchases. Implement internal cost controls, maintain quality standards, and optimize guest satisfaction in relation to food and beverage products, production, presentation, services, facilities, and overall experience.
  • Innovate promotional programs to enhance revenue per round and drive customer engagement.
  • Manage employment activities, including recruitment, training, compensation, and performance accountability for staff members. This includes performance evaluations, discipline, and termination when necessary.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, actively engaging with industry periodicals and participating in relevant trade associations and organizations.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required operational, financial, budgetary, and related reports.
  • Embrace additional duties as necessary to contribute to the team's success.

?? Qualifications for Success:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience, including supervisory and/or management experience, ideally within the hospitality, travel, or golf industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in current Microsoft technologies and platforms.
  • Proven track record in wine sales, training, and management.
  • Strong capabilities in staff and fiscal management, showcasing your ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Your problem-solving skills shine, enabling you to analyze and tackle challenges while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Flexibility is your second nature, readily adapting to working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Stellar organizational and analytical skills make you a master at multitasking and achieving objectives.
  • Embody a positive attitude, maintain a professional manner, and exude a polished appearance in all situations.

This is a full-time, non-seasonal position with salaried compensation. In addition, you'll be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
