Job Summary and QualificationsThe Food & Nutrition Manager will be an experienced and competent professional who is responsible for the management and documentation of day-to-day operations to ensure that patient and employee safety and HACCPS guidelines are maintained within the Food & Nutrition Department. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.
What you will do in this role:
- You will be responsible for leading by example and words to employees in their specific area.
- You must know patient tray line, food production, hosting, and sanitation.
- You will follow the HACCP guidelines, sanitation of dishes, following Serv Safe, inventory/purchasing of produce.
- You will assign special cleaning to employees and must be skilled in equipment operation.
- You will monitor and drive systems to ensure infection control practices, department security, and to comply with OSHA Guidelines.
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Diploma / Equivalent Required
- 5-7 years food service experience Preferred
- 1 year cooking experience Preferred
- Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire required
- Certified Dietary Manager Preferred
