Flower Shop Manager

Flower Shop Manager 2024:

Busy South Shore Flower Shop is looking for a 30 plus hour manager. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced retail professional to join our family and to lead our growing Flower Shop. The right person will run the shop and lead our customer service across all platforms, as well as assist in marketing and promoting events and community happenings at the shop. Managerial experience in retail and customer service required and floral design skills are preferred.

Responsibilities vary day to day including:

● Manage all aspects of the daily retail operations

● Manage all buying and inventory for the shop seasonally

● Customer service lead at the farm, on email and across all online social media platforms

● Maintain inventory and set up best practices for inventory management

● Maintain stock levels, anticipate placing reorders before stock level gets too low

● Execute vision for seasonal displays in the shop, keeping it fresh and new so it is an exciting experience for customers each week

● Answer, assist, direct all incoming inquiries from main inbox to correct person in a timely manner

● Set and uphold customer service guidelines to offer an elevated and pleasant experience for people visiting the farm and online

Qualifications:

· 5+ years retail, customer service, and POS experience preferred.

· Must have floral design experience

· Strong customer service skills required.

· Important qualities include: a positive attitude, willingness to work and try hard, good verbal communication skills and physical health

· Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to work on a small team under deadline

· Interest in gaining lots of hands-on instruction and responsibility in all aspects of the Flower Shop and retail operations from bouquet arrangement, marketing, events, and how to run a small business.

Compensation package

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $39,756.38 - $55,000.00 per year
