Job Duties and Tasks

• Create and Design floral orders using fresh and quality product at all times, our goal is to serve our customers by providing quality, value, consistency and innovative designs.

• Follow accurate recipes to meet the dollar $ amount - document your recipe per order sheet. Make sure all your orders are correct, double check for accuracy, add any ribbons or additional items requested upon completion.

• Review all orders prior to design to confirm you have the necessary product to complete your work. And if necessary, order flowers locally to complete same day orders using best judgement on substitution.

• Work consistently and actively through the day to meet time frames for deliveries. Work ahead on production for the next day to ensure orders are ready.

• Answer phone calls and take orders – confer with clients regarding price and type of arrangement desired. Plan arrangements according to clients requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties, materials or select appropriate standard design pattern. o Inform and guide customers on the handling, care and maintenance of various flowers and plants

• Keep your work station stocked with supplies and materials to maintain an efficient work day, and always keep your area tidy and organized - dispose of all flower debris and trash before leaving for the day.

• Help assist in all departments as needed – up to but not limited to the following: o clean out/sweep cooler o wash/empty/consolidate buckets o dress extra plants o tape saddles o help process flowers o help deliver orders, as needed o un-pack supplies as they come in – ribbons, baskets, vases, containers, foam, etc. o perform general cleaning duties to ensure the shop is sanitized and tidy

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Floral Design: 3 years (Required)
• Microsoft Word and Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 2 years (Required)
