As an installer, you will be responsible for all aspects of installing company products according to work order, manufacturer, quality and safety guidelines. Products include ceramic, vinyl, tile, laminate, carpet and hardwood.
Qualifications
Own a truck and/or trailer and/or van and all necessary tools to install flooring
Must have knowledge and ability necessary for removal and installation of flooring (ceramic and carpet mainly)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must have persistence and strong problem solving and time management skills
Take pride in craftsmanship and finished work product with the ability to make the job look great
Must be a min of 18 years of age and have a valid Driver's License
Clear Post Offer Drug Screen
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work as needed
Responsibilities
- Pick up the material from the warehouse and drive to the jobsite
- Take photo of state of jobsite BEFORE you do any work
- Check to see if any changes to the work order are needed, if so, obtain confirmation before moving ahead.
- Take payment if needed (the office will process for you before you start work)
- Remove existing flooring if needed then, install new flooring.
- Clean up and perform a walk-around with homeowner
- Obtain signature from homeowner (Do not sign yourself, WE WILL VERIFY)
- Pick up trash and extra material to bring back to the warehouse
- Dispose of trash in dumpster provided at the warehouse (You will not have to pay to dispose of trash)
standards and guidelines
Installers will drive to customers’ homes for installation. Installers will complete installation of all new product and collect a completion certificate and final payment from the customer (if needed). Installers will dispose of old product and debris in dumpster provided for that at the warehouse.
Installers will troubleshoot unforeseen issues in the field in an attempt to avoid rescheduling or extended installation time
Installers will complete installation projects in a professional and timely manner, including all finishing trims, insulates, and/or caulk
Recognize damaged subfloor and implement minor subfloor repair as needed for professional installation

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
