**Job Description:**
As a Floor Manager at Malibu Farm Seaport Village, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant while delivering exceptional customer service. Your leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to creating memorable dining experiences will be instrumental in our continued success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Team Leadership:** Lead and motivate the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders, by setting a positive example and providing clear guidance.
2. **Guest Experience:** Ensure that guests receive outstanding service and have a memorable dining experience by monitoring service quality and addressing guest concerns.
3. **Floor Management:** Oversee the daily operations of the dining area, including seating arrangements, table turnovers, and reservation management.
4. **Staff Scheduling:** Create and manage staff schedules, taking into account labor cost controls and peak business hours.
5. **Training and Development:** Train new employees, conduct ongoing staff training, and provide feedback to enhance team performance.
6. **Inventory Management:** Monitor and manage inventory levels for bar supplies, table settings, and other front-of-house necessities.
7. **Ordering and Receiving:** Place orders for front-of-house supplies and verify deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality.
8. **Conflict Resolution:** Address and resolve customer and staff issues professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere.
9. **Health and Safety:** Enforce health and safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe and clean dining environment.
10. **Collaboration:** Collaborate with the kitchen team, including the chef and sous chef, to ensure seamless communication and service coordination.
11. **Financial Oversight:** Assist in monitoring budget and financial goals, including cost control and revenue maximization.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous restaurant management experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and inventory management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $22.00 - $28.00/hour.
