We are currently seeking to hire 1 part-time or full-time Independent Contractor for this role.
You will be hired as an Independent Contractor working a flexible, part- or full-time Warehouse Shipping & Fulfillment Associate position to oversee our warehouse operations and optimize fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will be able to fulfill orders in a timely manner, manage inventory, and ensure efficient order processing to meet small business demands.
Description:
- Pick, pack and ship online eCommerce orders using shipment software.
- Assemble products for distribution and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Assist and optimize inventory management such as incoming, outgoing inventory and inventory count. Be able to receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices. Additionally, inspect shipments for damages or defects and report any issues to the appropriate team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service, to streamline processes and improve order accuracy and delivery timelines.
- Use warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels, orders, and update records.
- Operate forklifts or be able to handle other material handling equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Anything else as dictated by business demands and your capabilities.
Additional details:
- Flexible hours, 3-5 days per week as dictated by business demands for part-time/full-time position.
- Hourly salary; paid monthly. Potential for wage increase.
- Hired as an Independent Contractor.
- Must be able to lift and handle heavy objects, such as 40-pound boxes, and operate material handling equipment safely.
- Must have basic computer skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weight items.
- Must be comfortable working independently/solo in a small fulfillment warehouse.
