Fleet Equipment Detailer

Pepsi MidAmerica's Fleet Department is hiring!!!

We are seeking an experienced professional Automotive Detailer to work in our shop. The successful candidate will have a thick skin and be willing to work under pressure, as this position is critical to the success of our organization. The right candidate will have a strong desire to learn, a high level of commitment related to this job and a strong knowledge of all types of automobile finishes, as well as the ability to detail vehicles in a timely manner.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs washing and light, touch-up painting as assigned on all Fleet Equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To perform such task as washing all Fleet Equipment.

2. To touch-up paint on all Fleet Equipment.

3. To wash all executive equipment.

4. To porter all Fleet Equipment.

5. To fill in for light body shop duties when assigned.

6. To fill in for janitorial duties when assigned.

7. Keep parts room informed of touch-up painting supply inventory levels concerning on a weekly basis.

8. Responsible for handling all paint and wash bay materials in a safe manner.

9. Daily clean up of work area, including floors, walls, tabletops, equipment, overhead doors, ECT.

10. Responsible for working safely and for reporting potential hazardous problems in the work area to management.

11. To perform other service duties as assigned and deemed necessary by the Fleet Foreman.

Responsibilities(Examples):

• Wash, wax, and vacuum vehicles.
• Know the proper techniques for interior detailing.
• Use proper techniques for exterior buffing and polishing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
