Schedule: As-needed for daytime shift, 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Location: Valley Center, CA
Pay Range: $19.73 to $21.90 per hour, DOE

SUMMARY
Provide transportation for the handicap & elders from the nine consortia tribes to their medical and dental appointments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Drive elders & handicapped patients to and from IHC for dental & medical appointments.
2. Assists elders & handicapped patients into the vehicle, clears a path for their safety.
3. Checks out IHC & GSA vehicles to employees.
4. Checks medical and dental schedules every morning.
5. Provides off-site transportation as requested by provider.
6. Compiles reports of mileage for IHC vehicles for fiscal department.
7. Compiles reports of mileage for GSA vehicles for GSA.
8. Prepares board report stats to be turned in monthly to Administration.
9. Washes all company vehicles weekly.
10. Checks all vehicles at the end of each day to make sure all doors are locked, fills out form, turns into security.
11. Arranges for maintenance on all vehicles.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
TRAVEL & DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
• Travel is not required for this position.
• Driving is required for this position. Must have current, unrestricted California driver’s license and clean driving record for the last 7 years.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGULATIONS
• A valid California driver’s license and a good driving record will be required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Class B license is preferred.
• Current CPR certification or attain within 6 months of hire.
• Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam, tuberculin skin test or x-ray and urine drug screen test (to include marijuana). Health must be adequate to perform all duties of the position.
• Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination.
• Must pass criminal background check.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Must be proficient in the following:
• Productivity Software: Microsoft Office 365; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email & Calendar Management (outlook), Teams (video conferencing and meetings), and Share Point.
• Utilization of Paycom, Relias Learning, and PolicyTech systems.
