Flatline Machine Operator

Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time, Flatline Machine Operatorto join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare all material before loading onto flatline
- Load/unload material properly onto/off the flatline
- Accountable for the product and assembly you are working on
- Picking material using a stand/sit forklift
- Managing orders to be completed in full and on time
- Using a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust where material is at
- Inspecting all material for quality
- Having constant communication with upper management on progress with work orders
- Work with a team of individuals to ensure product is picked on time and to quality specifications
- Work together with all other areas in the warehouse to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous machine operating experience
- Comfortable learning to operate a forklift (previous forklift experience preferred)
- Candidate must have a good work history
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
- Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions; have legible penmanship, good communication skills (verbal and written) and be detail oriented.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexible in working overtime when necessary
- Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (this is a safety-sensitive position)
WORK SCHEDULE
- 1st shift-Monday thru Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime offered as needed
- 2nd shift-Monday thru Friday, 2:30-11pm, overtime offered as needed
PAY
- $22+/hr-1st shift
- $23/hr-2nd shift
