Job Title: Fixed Income Front Office Planning Specialist
Location: New York, NY (Onsite 3 days in a week)
Duration: 3-6 months Contract to Hire

Overview
We are looking to hire a new Front Office Planning Specialist at the Associate level for Sales and Trading business. Candidate will be responsible for designing and creating real time and periodic reporting of performance and production metrics across clients, sales and trading teams. The successful candidate will:

• Support Front Office management by producing performance reports
• Partner with business unit leadership to develop timely, accurate, and insightful analyses, metrics, and forecasts to support performance analysis and decision making
• Prepare materials to deliver business unit message to Front Office management and Sales and Trading Leadership
• Assist in the preparation of performance budgets and tracking tools
• General business reporting and presentations as time permits

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly performance metrics to business unit leadership
• Perform ad hoc analysis and presentation based on current trends and initiatives
• Track and analyze the business units performance trends by product with details on client, sales and trading levels.
• Assist in the comparison of business performance vs industry benchmarks and metrics.
• Prepare and deliver compelling and visually effective performance presentations
• Lead related work streams in evaluating processes to drive efficiencies

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration or related fields. MBA or other professional qualification will be recognized.
• 4-6yrs of experience preferably in sell side institutional fixed income front office
• Experience in data analysis and production of reporting materials / dashboard
• Good knowledge about client data and client relationship management tools
• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of risk, support, and business partners
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
• Series 7 & SIE preferred
