Fitness Floor Attendant

HealthFitness is looking for a Fitness Floor Attendant to join the team at our corporate client site located in Atlanta, GA!

Schedule: 40 hours/wk, M-F, combination of 6a-2:30p and 10:30a-7p. Saturday rotation, approximately 1x/month, 9a-1p.

Your impact:

• Welcomes, greets, and interacts with the members, guests and all those using the fitness center. Provides assistance, including offering tactful and safe advice to individuals regarding the use of equipment.
• Provides safe and effective instruction of all cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
• Conducts fitness equipment orientations.
• Inspects the fitness center and all equipment to ensure it’s clean and safe to use, reporting and restricting the use of broken equipment.
• Knows and abides by facility policy and procedures, advising members as appropriate.
• Participates in staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.
• Manages equipment usage during peak usage periods.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you bring with you:

• HS Diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute. (Note: certification must have an in-person component and not 100% online/OSHA complaint); if not current, will be required within 30 days.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding, timecard systems, and various computer systems including but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and membership program.
• Ability to use and operate a variety of strength training and cardiovascular equipment.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
