Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate required.
- Elementary (ZG) endorsements required.
- Leads a 1st grade classroom
- Demonstrates ability to differentiate instruction by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
- Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modifies instructional methods to fit students needs
- Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learning of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional development meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.

- Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
