FIREFIGHTER-PARAMEDIC-EMT

The City of Monroe is accepting applications for full-time Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic job vacancies. Successful applicants will be responsible for providing ALS emergency medical first response and effective fire suppression and prevention services. Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate; a valid State of Michigan Vehicle Operator’s License and good driving record, Michigan Firefighter I & II certification, current State of Michigan Paramedic or EMT license and hazmat operations level certification. Residency within 20 miles of the City of Monroe’s boundaries is required within two years after employment. Excellent wage and benefit package. Base Salary: $48,466.08 (July 2023) to start with possible lateral pay for experience with a top pay of $74,141 after 5 years of service.
