Fire Sprinkler Mechanic

Who You Are:

We are seeking a highly motivated Fire Sprinkler Inspector, with a S12/S13 certification (or able to obain one). You will be responsible for inspecting building in the NYC Metropolitan area. 

 

What You'll Do:

• Perform inspections, testing and maintenance/repairs of Wet, Dry, Pre-action and Deluge Sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA and the state department of health. 

• Possess the ability to accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection.  
• Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows and standpipes is a plus.  
• Must be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions; such as climbing ladders. 

What You Bring:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent 
• Functional knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems 
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record 
• Ability to stand, or climb stairs and ladders for a long period of time 
• Excellent customer service skills 

• Ability to adapt to new programs and applications for uploading reports 
• Good communication and organizational skills 
• Certificate of Fitness for S12 and S13 is mandatory (or willing to obtain)
