Job Summary
Fire Safety First is a full-service fire protection company in Santa Ana and is now hiring Fire Sprinkler Installers.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensures customers are serviced to the highest level of satisfaction through quality service and met expectations prior to leaving the jobsite
- Conducts installation, modifications and repairs of Fire Sprinkler systems
- Performs troubleshooting, service, and repairs of sprinkler systems
- Identifies code violations and other non-compliant issues and recommends solutions
- Reads and understands inspection reports, product specification sheets, O&M manuals, drawing, blueprints, and fire codes
- Completes and produces reports (as needed) that are legible, accurate, and detailed; completes work orders and other documents accurately and on time
- Interacts professionally with customers, building engineers, property managers, and acts as an efficient team member within the department
- Uses a company provided service vehicle for work (if applicable) and keeps it well maintained and supplied with all parts, tools, and equipment; keeps the vehicle clean and organized with a complete inventory of tools and supplies
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and effectively at all levels of the FSF organization
- Helps to identify continuous improvement in payroll and HR administrative processes and offers solutions to promote efficiency
- Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices, ,specifically CAL OSHA and safety measures related to work
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Ability to navigate comfortably throughout Orange County, South Bay, and other local areas.
- Once trained, the ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Knowledgeable of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, & 25.
- Knowledgeable in installing Steel pipe, CPVC, C-900 & ductile iron piping
Job Type- Full Time, consistent 40 Hours Per Week
Pay Range: $28.00 to $30.00 an hour
Education and Experience
- Valid driver's license and good driving record (printout required).
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following OSHA and Fire Safety First's code of safe practice
- 4 to 6 years of Fire Sprinkler installation experience
- Have a current California Fire Sprinkler Fitter License
- High school diploma or equivalent
