FIRE SPRINKLER INSPECTOR DUITES
- Provide inspection, testing, and service for Fire Sprinkler equipment, fire hydrants and backflow prevention assemblies to comply with NFPA25 standards as well as state and local codes. Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations.
- Ensure clients understand prior to leaving the facility what deficiencies there are associated with the inspection and property.
- Be punctual as to not miss scheduled inspection
- Submit all paperwork to include Work Orders, Inspection report NOI and NOCI before leaving clients facility. Generate reports and submit internally as well as A.H.J.s as required
- Ensure Clients know why we are at the re facility prior to conducting work. If they have question or need some training please assist in that aspect.
- Work overtime when needed.
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role.
- Help Operation in training Sprinkler Foreman’s and apprentices on what to look for on their new construction projects.
- Assist Fire Sprinkler Department in performing the initial inspection of New Construction Projects.
- Maintain stock, tools, and equipment in vehicles.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- RME-I License (Responsible Managing Employee - General Inspector License with State Of Texas)
- 1+ years’ experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Life Safety Systems
- Austin Water Hydrant Certification
- Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers license (BPAT with TCEQ)
- Be able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- Additional State Licenses are accepted on top of RME-I such as FAL, Fel-B, Fel-K, Fel-A

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
