Here at Southland, we service the Petro Chemical industry, municipalities in the Southern states and many local businesses.
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to be part of our service technician team.
Responsibilities
Performance of daily, weekly, monthly and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various sized Fire Extinguishers
Repair, replace, fill and tag all Fire Extinguishers
Service and test Fire Extinguishers
Clean and recharge Fire Extinguishers and perform hydrostatic tests on extinguishers.
Requirements/Experience
Must be physically able to lift 50-100 lbs.
Must be able to climb stairs.
Must be able to pass drug & alcohol screening
OSHA certification (preferred but not required for applying)
TWIC certification (preferred but not required for applying)
Work Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5:00pm / Friday 7:30 am-4:30 pm
