Job Description
Low Voltage Service Technician for NCI's National Accounts Division. This is a travel role with jobsites throughout the Southeastern United States. Normal scheduling will be Monday through Friday with occasional evening or weekend work (<10 hrs. per month). This is a full time position with the opportunity for overtime. Accommodation provided while traveling along with per diem. Take home company vehicle provided for candidates who meet insurance requirements.
Requirements:
- 3 Years experience installing and/or maintaining Fire Alarm systems (Bosch experience preferred)
- Experience installing and maintaining low voltage voice/data/security networks
- NICET I or II certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites in multiple states.
Successful Candidates Will:
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Possess a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Have their own hand tools
- Have reliable transportation
- Be a self starter
- Complete work within a pre-determined schedule
- Be flexible with the requirements of customers or other trades
The following are not required but may receive preference:
- Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B)
- Bosch Certification
- BICSI Certification
- Low Voltage License
- Telecommunications or Low Voltage Industry Certifications
- OSHA 30
- OSHA 10
- Aerial Work Platform Certification
- FASA/BASA Certifiate
