Lead Security & Fire Alarm Technician

Responsibilities:

-Provide hands on lead installation of low voltage systems, including security systems, fire
alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercom, residential audio, commercial audio,
structured cabling, & computer networks.
- Provide field service support for all mentioned low voltage systems, including
troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations.
- Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide mentoring/ training of junior technicians both hands on in the field and classroom

- Provide training and support to end-users on the operation of low voltage systems.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Lead Low Voltage Technician or similar role 3+ years.
- Working knowledge of security systems, commercial Fire Alarm, CCTV, access control
including door hardware, computer networking, and other related technologies with the
ability for design, installation, programming, & troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand complex design drawings and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of NEC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and can pass a background check.
- Strong customer service skills both on the phone and in person.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
