- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through carious channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments and site evaluations to understand customers fire protection requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Solution Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase the benefits and features of our products.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, contractors, engineers, property managers, and other key decision makers in the fire safety industry.
- Quoting and Negotiation: Prepare accurate and negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable contracts while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, track sales activities, and provide regular updates to management on progress and forecasts.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in fire protection to effectively advise customers and maintain a competitive edge.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional pre-sale support to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth transition during system implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including project managers, technicians, and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by management, demonstrating a commitment to driving revenue growth and expanding Silco’s market presence.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the fire protection and life safety systems industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with potential customers.
- Technical aptitude and a keen interest in learning about Fire Alarm systems, codes, and regulations.
- Self-motivated, results driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid Driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
Compensation ranges based on experience, performance, and accumulation of projects and can range from $75,000 to $125,000+ per year.
