Our Fire Alarm Inspectors perform assigned tasks on Fire Alarm systems including minor repairs and visual and functional testing on Fire Alarm systems in accordance with all national and local standards. Why is this so important?Our Fire Alarm Inspectors are the face of Siemens,and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money, as well as create a more sustainable future for our environment. As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will: Provide inspection, testing, and service for Fire Alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes.

Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations. Discuss noted deficiencies, remedies, and pricing with customers and follow up on corrective actions. Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules.

Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed. Generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to city municipality websites. Perform minor service and deficiency repairs on all Fire Alarm system types.

Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operations and routine inspections. Assist with training. You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications: High school diploma, state-recognized GED 3+ years' experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.

Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months and Level 2 within 24 months. Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for employer-based sponsorship now or in the future. Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in Commercial or Industrial Fire Alarm/Life Safety Systems Ability to read/understand design and construction documents.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
