Fire Alarm Designer

We are currently seeking to fill a Designer/Drafter position to work with our team. As a Drafter/Designer in this role, you will use CAD or other software to prepare drawings and make changes to projects following, code requirements, standards, and site demands, for our clients. You will be expected to work within a team and must have a positive attitude, great organizational skills, and the ability to communicate with others.

Functions & Responsibilities:

In addition to following policies, and procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position currently include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare layouts and drawings.

• Document and save project work per established guidelines to ensure the integrity of file management and quality of production.

• Swiftly and accurately prepare construction drawings using CAD or similar software.

• Take personal accountability for the quality and quantity of work produced as executed.

• Coordinate and collaborate with the sales and engineering teams regarding construction documents and drawings.

• Make revisions based on required adjustments per teams.

Qualifications:

• A minimum High School Diploma

• A Valid Driver’s License

• A Clean Driving Record

• Must have good communication skills.

• Must have good people skills and should work well with the team and others.

• Must be self-motivated and willing to take control of a project.

• Must have a professional attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Must be good at time management.
