Job Description
The Intent of this role is to assist rewinder and work on finishing end of production.
Responsible for having Rewinders staged with materials and tooling for efficient workflow. Assisting with Quality Control in the pressroom. Performing any other additional activities as directed by your supervisor (which may include running a machine, and/or assisting in maintenance needs).
Duties
- Responsible for many aspects of finishing in production.
- Assist press operator to ensure make ready process is completed in an efficient manner.
- Putting left-over material and tooling back where they belong
- Maintaining raw material by using the FIFO procedure
- Interact with shipping and receiving for inventory control.
- Help to maintain production tooling in order, always – dies, perfs, mags, print cylinders, anilox inventory.
- Help to maintain Pressroom cleanliness and organization
- Assist with finishing needs as directed by your supervisor.
- Fold Boxes
- Run rewind table
- Help package boxes as they come off press.
- Work with maintenance to make sure all components work properly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or some equivalent
- 18 years or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Flexographic Industry a plus
Additional Notes
- Able to bend and twist. Able to lift up to 40lbs. Able to be on your feet all day. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Overtime will be required based on production requirements.
