Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fingerprint Technician to join our team at MS Laboratory. As a Fingerprint Technician, you will play a crucial role in the collection, analysis, and processing of fingerprints to support various applications, such as criminal investigations, background checks, and security clearances.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct fingerprinting services for clients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

2. Accurately capture and classify fingerprint images using advanced fingerprinting technology and equipment.

3. Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of fingerprint data throughout the collection and processing phases.

4. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, government entities, and other organizations as needed.

5. Maintain and calibrate fingerprint equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.

6. Provide excellent customer service and assist clients with any questions or concerns related to fingerprinting services.

7. Keep detailed records and documentation of all fingerprinting transactions and maintain the security of records.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in criminal justice, forensic science, or a related field is a plus.

2. Proven experience as a Fingerprint Technician or in a similar role is preferred.

3. Knowledge of fingerprinting techniques, equipment, and technology.

4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in capturing and processing fingerprints.

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

6. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

7. Proficient in the use of fingerprinting software and databases.

10. Keeping the office clean and supplies stocked.
