Role Summary

The Fine Wine Sales Representative will play a crucial and dynamic role in driving sales, cultivating deep customer relationships, and broadening our market presence. Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development: You'll play a crucial role in harnessing our geographical sales advantages and overcoming market penetration hurdles. With New York, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Texas, Connecticut, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Colorado as our leading sales territories, your proven experience and established networks in these areas are key to driving success. This role demands not just an understanding of the distinct market dynamics of these regions but also the active formulation and execution of strategies to boost our presence and navigate growth challenges effectively.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate meaningful relationships with a portfolio of new and existing clients, delivering personalized service and leveraging wine knowledge to meet their unique preferences.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Launch captivating marketing campaigns across all communication platforms, including email, social media, and additional channels, to showcase our exceptional wine selections and promotions. This comprehensive approach aims to spark interest and drive sales effectively.
  • Market Expansion: Utilize extensive knowledge of regional market dynamics to navigate and capitalize on opportunities in established and emerging markets, employing effective strategies for broader market penetration.

The Fine Wine Sales Representative will:

  • Motivate and engage in acquiring new customers and rekindle relationships with past clients through phone and email.
  • Establish personal, high-touch relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented and competitive environment, contributing towards shared goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies for client management, focusing on customer retention and long-lasting relationships.
  • Analyze customer spending and trends to enhance service and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team, sharing insights and offers to support collective success.
  • Create captivating offers for clients, reinforcing our position as a premier wine merchant.
  • Devise sales plans incorporating strategies for revenue growth, customer retention, and self-improvement.
  • Maintain and expand product knowledge and wine industry expertise.

Ideal Candidate

  • Education & Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years in Wine Sales. A thorough understanding of sales, marketing, and customer service principles is essential.
  • Skills & Attributes: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in MS, innovative and strategic thinking, self-motivated, and proficiency in working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Remote Work Dynamics: This role is designed for autonomous, entrepreneurial professionals adept at building and maintaining relationships through various communication channels. Local candidates are required to visit the HQ in NY on occasion.
