Responsibilities *Provide excellent customer services*
- Greet customers and present menus
- Set up and oreganize tables with clean tableware.
- Take food/drink orders and serve accordingly.
- Make suggestions based on their preferences
- Up-sell food and beverages to increase average sales.
- Keep tables clean and tidy and refill waters at all times.
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Keep all server stations well organized.
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Restaurant Server in casual or Fine Dining setting.
- Open to learn Indian cuisine.
- Experience with developing constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers
- Prior experience with a POS system.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Active listening
- Good physical condition
- Customer-centric
- High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
