The William Penn Inn is looking to hire Fine Dining Servers who are passionate about the food service industry, exhibit excellent customer service skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong work ethic.
Our servers are responsible for adhering to all service guidelines, while coordinating and creating each guest's perfect dining experience.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years prior serving experience, should be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, will be knowledgeable and friendly with guests and other team members, and should have a good working knowledge of restaurant operations.
Responsibilities:
- Wait on guests in a Fine Dining restaurant while following our required steps of service.
- Manage multiple tables in a section at once.
- Talk with guests to take orders and explain specials.
- Carry dishes from dining room to kitchen area.
- Be aware of health and safety regulations when handling food and beverages.
- Remain knowledgeable about current menu items, cocktail list and wine list selections.
- Responsible for completing daily side work duties.
What You'll Need:
- At least 3 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant. Experience in a Fine Dining establishment preferred.
- Knowledge of computers and different POS systems.
- daytime, night time, weekend, and holiday availability.
- The ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
