MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with (Art) Approved Area OR (Art) K-12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Middle Grades Certificate with (Music or Art) Approved Area OR (Art) K-12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Secondary Certificate with (Music or Art) Approved Area OR (Art) K-12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with (Art) Approved Area
OR
Arizona Arts Education - (Art) PreK-12 Certificate
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
COMMENTS
Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
LOCATION: Fine Arts
FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
