Responsibilities
- Collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives involving the Company's financial and inventory systems with a focus on IT development or coordinating IT development of automating processes, reducing redundancy, and providing enhanced financial insights to support business decisions.
- Develop an efficient process for gathering financial system business requirements, analyzing risks associated with potential solutions, and advising process owners of best approaches.
- Leader for developing, maintaining, testing, and implementing finance applications in a diverse technology environment including IBM I, Microsoft SQL Server, multiple ERP systems, automations, integrations, and banking providers.
- Lead financial system governance and ensure sufficient testing and control requirements are followed when developing, testing, and deploying solutions and enhancements.
- Provide guidance with respect to ticket resolution and prioritization and continue to build the technical capabilities to anticipate problems, identify root causes, and be proactive about preventing issues from occurring.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of current state systems and processes.
- Act as the primary Finance liaison with IT and 3rd Party vendors on technical items, such as upgrades, enhancements, maintaining systems interfaces, and issue resolution.
- Work collaboratively with within Finance (e.g., FP&A, Tax, Accounting), Inventory & Supply Chain teams to identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies or optimizations within existing systems to further help scale the overall business.
- Continue to push the envelope: monitor new financial technology trends and introduce the right solutions when appropriate, e.g., RPA.
- Be available for support requests that may arise during off-business hours.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience
Experience Knowledge:
- A minimum of (7-10) years of technical experience in information technology business systems.
- Experience working in a retail environment is a plus.
Required Knowledge:
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server specifically in agent scheduling, debugging, and creating new scripts for running tasks; communication configuration.
- Network communication protocols (FTP, SFTP, SSh)
- Retail business systems preferred.
- Financial systems and general business systems
- Knowledge of Sage MAS500 or other finance ERPs strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with Jira or similar project/backlog tracking tools in an Agile multi-team environment preferred.
- Familiarity, experience with RPA / UI Path desired.
- Familiarity, experience with Concur T&E and/or other T&E software, integrations desired.
- Familiarity with Linux and other similar platforms, including AS/400 desired.

- Ability to work in dynamic environment with deadlines.
- Strong cross functional communication, written and verbal.
- Ability to mentor peers.

Compensation
The wage for this position is based on many factors such as role requirements, skill set, years of experience and other organizational needs. The estimated range is $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
