POSITION: Financial Systems Analyst

* Consideration would be given to other locations but must be able to travel to Raritan or Titusville NJ, as needed.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate is a maximum range of $58.00 to $62.00. This will annualize to an estimated range of $116,000 to $124,000 based on 40 hour work weeks and 50 of 52 working weeks per year. OT is payable at 1.5X base rate and will add to the overall compensation based on actual hours worked.
JOB DESCRIPTION/EXPERIENCE:
The Financial Systems Analyst is a global role and will coordinate, provide leadership and support Finance Business Partners in all aspects of Financial closing, Master data management, system security and Interface management. This role is the interface between the global Finance organization and the IT Center for excellence (COE) as well as with key corporate finance functions and systems.
Processes include: Financial closing activities, Master data management, System security and access management, Interface management.
Key activities are:
• Plan, coordinate global quarterly and annual financial closing processes with several Finance organizations as well as IT and execute critical system activities in SAP.
• Manage complex RND organizational changes in the Beacon SAP system. Provide effective financial hierarchy and structure design to ensure data integrity and effective reporting and analytics.
• Manage data interface processes including reconciliations and Sox compliance aspects.
• Manage the Beacon system security process, review requests and approve system access.
• Provide leadership and act as coordinator for system change requests and system improvements between Finance and the Beacon IT COE.
• Handle master data maintenance processes and work closely with the IT COE to ensure data integrity. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine effective and appropriate courses of action.
• Play key role in system implementation and integration projects.
• Prepare business recommendations and drive continuous improvements around Closing, master data, system security processes.
• This individual will represent the finance system function in meetings with other functional areas for all aspect of the above processes.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or Information technology.
• This role requires both functional finance as well as technical SAP expertise.
• A minimum of three years Finance and hands-on SAP systems experience with the SAP modules FI, CO, PS is preferred. A CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certifications is also preferred. SAP configuration experience with at least one of the above three SAP modules is a strong plus.
• The role requires both broad picture thinking as well as attention to detail work.
• Candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical, conceptual abilities. The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions as well as projects is required.
• The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
• Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Work experience with international teams is a plus.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries is preferred.
