Financial Reporting Analyst

Nesco Resource, a leading staffing company, is currently seeking a highly motivated Financial Reporting Analyst for our client, a prominent national retail company. This is a temporary/contract position to cover an employee who will be on leave.
Job Summary: As the Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing Financial Reporting processes for our client, with a primary focus on gross margin analysis. You will collaborate closely with the merchandising team, utilizing your expertise in Excel, Access, and Oracle ERP to manipulate data and generate daily reports. V-lookups, SAS, and the ability to write queries are essential skills for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Execute detailed financial analysis, particularly in gross margin reporting.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Utilize Excel, Access, and SAS to manipulate data from Oracle ERP.
• Generate daily reports and contribute to the efficiency of financial processes.
• Manage and coordinate with team members to meet reporting deadlines.

• Proficient in Excel, Access, and SAS; ability to write queries is a plus.
• Flexible and adaptable to extended working hours during peak seasons (e.g., holidays).
• Previous experience working with Oracle ERP is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be a self-starter and work effectively in a team.

• This is a temporary/contract position with an immediate start date.
• The position is primarily in-office, with occasional opportunities for remote work.
