Your responsibilities in this role
- Supervise and oversee the operations of the Financial Planning team
- Assemble financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis
- Lead the development of short- and long-term financial forecasts and financial analysis
- Work in cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues
- Inform strategic and day-to-day decisions by analyzing financials
- Aid in regulatory filings
- Complete financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions
- Draw up operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle
- Oversee the employee hiring process, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
- Analyze budget and fiscal assumptions in the creation of operating plans
- Help with financial deliverables to the executive team
- Analyze financials to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
- Support financial analysis for the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ability to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative abilities
- 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
- 8+ years of experience in FP& A required
- Skilled in building relationships and communication
- Must have high business acumen
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
- Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
