Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a FinancialOperations Specialist for our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization in Sacramento, California! This is a wonderful remote, contract opportunity to join an inspiring team!
Perks:
Competitive pay rate range of $27/hour and benefits!
20-30 hours weekly
Possibility of contract extension!
What youâll be doing:
-Bookkeeping: Engage in ongoing bookkeeping using QuickBooks, ensuring transactions are accurately classified, expenses are allocated to appropriate grants, and financial records are meticulously organized.
-Payroll Management: Handle payroll processes, ensuring all staff members are paid accurately and on schedule. This includes the careful review and approval of timesheets.
-Financial Reporting: Regularly update cash flow projections to provide accurate financial insights. Prepare financial reports for both staff and board.
-Bill Payments: Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely bill payments and accurate record-keeping in our accounting system.
-Software Account Management: Oversee various software accounts, handling associated billing and ensuring all accounts meet our organizational needs.
-Mail Management: Handle incoming mail, including filing and responding as needed.
What you need to be successful:
- Bookkeeping and financial management experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Nonprofit experience is a plus
Compensation:
