The Financial Manager is responsible for leading the Financial Planning and Analysis needs for the Tax business unit. The Financial Manager will be expected to assist the Business Unit (BU) management team in making well-informed financial decisions. We expect the Financial Manager to have the experience and business acumen to provide value to the business.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the BU managing partner and delivery and operations leader on all financial matters

• Work directly with the CFO and firmwide finance team leadership on business unit financial matters

• Function as a key financial and strategic planning resource to business unit leaders

• Design, develop, and implement models and reporting to drive business decisions

• Assess the economic & financial impact of major business decisions and market events

• Supervise, coach, and train the financial analysis team

• Actively participate in technology implementations related to finance activities

• Develop and maintain a dynamic annual budget and facilitate the quarterly and monthly refresh process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required

• CPA or relevant certification preferred

• Experience in a finance-related business role and/or professional service industry is a plus

• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
